Dave and Alison's Working Pattern and Contact Arrangements
As a result of having two Superintendent Ministers they will each only be working 4 days a week! We thus gain 2 days per week output for free.
However:
Primarily they will each work Sunday to Wednesday inclusive. Pastoral crises will be responded to whenever possible outside of these days - normally by Dave.
They would ask all church leaders who require them to attend meetings to do their utmost to ensure meetings are restricted to Mondays through Wednesdays.
If you wish to contact them, in the first instance this should be via the manse and not the Circuit Office.
01753 520742 or 07988 088775 between the hours of 9.15 am and 5 pm Monday to Wednesday.
Email: david.tomlin10@btinternet.com
Outside the above times messages may be left for them on the manse phone number, or if you are fortunate via Dave's mobile.
Messages and emails sent to the Circuit Office may well suffer delays in receiving a reply.
Hopefully the Circuit Office will be sorted out and Office hours advertised in due course.

On our noticeboard there is a poster from Sarah Middleton, South East District Training Officer, advertising a Vocations Day,
the first in our District, in association with others in the South East Regional Training Network.

It is for individuals who are considering candidating for diaconal or presbyteral ministry, or who would like to pursue a journey
towards lay ministry/vocational lay employment (eg. as a Youth Worker).
Attendance at such a day is one of the steps towards building a portfolio, as outlined in the new candidating procedures,
and there will be input on the day from those in both lay and ordained ministry.
Hard copies of a provisional programme and booking form will be available in a few weeks' time
for distribution at various events in the lead-up to 1 May.
However, anyone who feels they would like to attend should register their interest with wendy.cory@methodistsoutheast.org.uk

Wexham Park Hospital Weekly Sunday Service in the Chapel
A request comes via Churches Together in Maidenhead for more teams to offer to lead a half hour service of
prayers and hymns at the hospital at 10.30am on a Sunday which is followed by a short communion service
led by the hospital chaplain.
Most of the church teams currently participating are from Slough but a team of 6 people from St Luke’s CofE
in Maidenhead goes 4 times a year.
The team needs to arrive at 09.30 to prepare by going round the wards to check the list of patients and staff
who wish to attend the service. Obviously the more teams which offer to lead worship the less often they are required.
For more information please speak to the chaplains on 01753 633 660.
Would you like to be part of a team of people to operate the projector on Sunday mornings?
IT skills desirable but not essential. Training will be given.
Speak to Chris Clifford, Dave Sturgeon or Liz Tottingham.
Also, if you would be interested in operating the amplification system,
speak to Dave Sturgeon or Liz Tottingham.
